Business Development Director

Tasks and Responsabilities:

Develop solid business relations with his clients

Be present in the business market by participating in different networking activities and events with clients during off-business hours

Listen and understand his clients’ needs and be proactive to find solutions

Reach and surpass his sales, revenues and development objectives by acquiring new clients

Elaborate account plans to satisfy the client’s business needs

Update the CRM and present strategic plans / tactics to meet the client’s needs



Technical skills and Specific knowledge:

Orientation towards the client

High-level interpersonal abilities

High capacity to develop a long-term business network

Knowledge in the telecommunications industry, engineering-consulting and IP telephony

Basic knowledge of the principles in local networks (LAN), wide networks (WAN), security, wireless (802.11), IP telephony, data centre

Be autonomous, creative, proactive and show initiativesPossess a good business sense

Great ability to work in teams

Show good judgment, be professional and ethical

Skills with the required informatic tools (MsWord, Excel, PowerPoint)

Bilingual – French and English (oral and writing)

Having a valid driver’s license

Having a car within business hours


Experience and Academic profile:

Bachelor in Business Administration or Engineering with experience in business development

Minimum of a 5-year experience in telecommunication sales
